I wasn't sure where to post this but I'm trying to figure out what type of oil I should put in a Tree 2UVR milling machine. In the user manual, the spec says "Socony-Mobile DTE Oil-BB or equivalent (viscosity 85 sec. at 210F)". This oil appears to be unavailable and I'm confused about what the spec is.
I bought a Tree milling machine today for $1000. I figured I couldn't go wrong at that price as the machine is mostly complete and appears to have light use. The spindle bearings puked on it and once that occurred, the seller started scavaging parts out of the control cabinet - spindle drive is gone as are several of the drive boards.
